Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) services in Winchester are temporarily off-air pending urgent re-engineering works.
Winchester DAB Limited has taken over the Ofcom DAB licence for this area, previously operated by UK DAB Networks (Operations) Limited.
As part of this licence transition and due to some legal hurdles, it has been necessary to re-engineer the local transmission network, which in turn will also allow services to operate in a financially sustainable manner.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused, and hope to restore DAB radio services to Winchester as soon as possible.
